Much Better Day :)

So this morning G woke up and told me all about his day yesterday (I had to work late last night and didn't see him before he went to bed :( ).... anyway he went on a bear hunt yesterday and was singing me the song, I think I might of impressed him because I knew it to ... I think this started him morning much better.  So off to school we went and only a tiny bit of cling, but a bye mom and off he went.

I hope he likes his lunch today.. yesterday he said he didn't like the marshmallow part.. sheeze...

He has a bread round, with an cheese apple with a penguin on it (that is his schools mascot) and cheese ABC.  Grapes (requested) carrots, pepperoni, and cheese, yogurt and a cookie (under the white cup)

Hope he likes this one.

Day 2...

Well Little G was not a happy camper today.  He did not want to go to school... yes folks I am that kids mother, the one who is crying in the classroom.... yikes..... he was so happy yesterday and talked about it non stop last night, but then this morning..... a complete change....  I am sure he is good and has calmed down now, but man it gets your heart :(.  Any advice out there?

I hope at least when it comes to his lunch he will love it....

Cheese, bread and a bit of pink marshmallow pencil.  turkey and cheese stick roll ups, carrots and grapes on a flag.  There is a cookie hidden under the turkey cup and I added a yogurt after I took the picture. 

I sure hope my guy has a good day.

First Day of Pre-K

I can't believe my baby is already in Pre-K...  I think today might of been a bit more scary for me than it was for him...

Isn't he the cutest.. :)

So today he had to have a back to school lunch..

School bus sandwich with cheese letters.  Pepperoni and cheese, carrots, strawberries and a yogurt.  I think I might of hidden a cookie in there too.  Not sure it made it there looking like this as he was kind of tipping his lunch box everywhere :).  But hopefully he enjoyed it all the same :)

Here is his I'm not so sure about this look, but then he was all waving when he went inside.

One more Summer Memory

Well G doesn't start school till tomorrow, so one more day of summer memories and then it will be back to school theme.

I asked G over the weekend what one of his favorite things he did this summer was and he said to play with the doggies that we visited.  When we visited New York and my inlaws they have a Brittney named McKenzie and Sister in law has two doggies, an Maltese named Asti and a Papillon called Scarlet .  When we visited Arizona my mothers roomie has a little mixed dog named Chloe.  G loved playing with them all (My mother had since gotten another dog, more for G to play with)

Summer Memory --Sea Life Arizona

Whille G and I were in Arizona we visited Sea Life..  What a perfect Aquarium. Just the right size for a four year old.  We had so much fun.

So today's (yesterday's) lunch

Cheeses and bread fish with cheeses bubbles.  Carrots, pepperonis, more cheese circles, strawberry and a yogurt.

Summer Memory for the Day

Going on a Jet.  G loves airplanes (or as he calls all airplanes, Jets) so to get to go one not one but 4 (two each way) to Arizona he was in heaven.

On the last flight home he even got to sit like a big boy (we used the car seat on the other flights)

So today's lunch

Cheese and bread jet,  yogurt covered pretzel clouds.  Turkey and cheese roll ups, carrots and grapes.

 

The Fair

We went to the Delaware State Fair this year and G's favorite part was feeding the Giraffe carrots.

He just giggled when the giraffe licked him...

so todays (kind of sad) lunch is a cheese G and Giraffe,  the cups have apples, carrots, cheese and pepperoni, crackers and a cookie and his yogurt

Looking back at the summer

Well summer vacation is over for me... G doesn't go to school until next week, so he is with the sitter this week.  So this week I decided to review the fun things we did this summer..

Up First.... The Dinosaur Museums.. We got to go to two this summer the Smithsonian in Washington DC, and Arizona Natural History Museum

 we went out to see my mum and take in the fun of Arizona.  Fun Fun

So he easy peezy lunch (have to ease myself back into this is)

two dino chicken nuggets, smiley fries, grapes and a heart carrott.


Today we have a Cactus because that was one of his favorite thing he saw when we visited Arizona

Cactus is cheese and bread with little cheese woodpeckers. Then he has turkey, a cookie, carrots and apples and of course his favorite yogurt.
