Q is for Queen

Q is the letter of the week.  So today I made G a crown fit for a queen..

He has  a crown "grilled" open face sandwich, rice with a letter Q out of turkey on top, carrots, apple slices, a cookie and some shredded cheese in the green box.

Go gurt and juice (almost didn't make it, as I was cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast and making lunch I found it still on the counter, made it just in time)

Didn't really have a theme for today and just thought I would pick some of G's favorites

we have rice with octopus hotdogs, carrots, cut up cheese stick, cookies and oranges.
and of course go gurt and juice

E is for Evil Pizza

Ok I am really stretching it today... I woke up late, wasn't feeling the best (bad allergies) and remembered that we had left over pizza.  AT first it was just the pizza, then I decided to at least put the letter E somewhere.... as I was getting the letter E out of my goodies I spied the evil eyes... plopped them on and voila.. evil pizza...

He also has gogurt and applesauce and his drink...


Next week should be better I will be home and normalcy can come back.

Away this week, but still made lunches

I went away to a conference Mon - Wed.  I made up G's lunches on Sunday night, so that
1) Daddy wouldn't have to and 2) so they would still be cute.  I took pictures and was going to set up my posts, but that part never happened.. and I can't find the picture of wednesday.. aughh...

Monday
He loves the Spiderman box that Daddy gave him, so it's kind of been the one he asks me to pack his lunch in, most of the time I don't have a theme when I use it.. but I still try to make them cute

Cheese and Bread Cat open faced sandwich, Mommy loves you on extra cheese.  Oranges, carrots, turkey and a cookie

I used my funbites heart to give him a cheese heart sandwich and then he had the normal , carrots, turkey and oranges...  wish I knew what happened to that pictures.. aughh...

Thursday (first day back)
I found out that his letter of the week is E, so...

I am trying the turkey on the sandwich today in the past he hasn't liked it.. so we will see what happens...  Two elephant sandwiches, a cheese stick, apple sauce with the letter E in sprinkles.  I put the cookie cutter in the apple sauce then sprinkle the sprinkles over the E...

With all these lunches he had a gogurt and juice box :)

Yellow Jacket

Y is for Yellow Jacket

Y looks like a sling shot :)

G came home from school saying that the Y looks like the slingshot in the angry bird game.  So today I made him another Angry Bird lunch with a Y slingshot.  Plus... Y is kind of hard to think of words that you can make a lunch from.....

The pig is from the cutezcute cutter and is wheat bread with cheese (boring I know, but he eats it).  The flying angry bird is cheese as well as the Y for the slingshot. The string part is a noodle, which he has more of in the container below.  He has single carrot, as that is pretty much all I had left.  He also has an apple sauce and go gurt.

Rest of X week, week before spring break and start of this week.

Wow.. been just a bit since I posted. Sorry...... we have been quite busy and sometimes I have to take a step back and make sure I have time for my family, so things fall behind.
