A little Farmer and his pig

G is finishing up his farm unit at school, so I whipped this together this morning

Cheese farmer with a bread pig, turkey, fresh picked strawberries and carrots.

G's Choice Lunch

This morning I asked G if he wanted to help make his lunch, he said yes... He said he wanted another rocket lunch, but the rockets out of cheese (not on bread) and bread stars.  He helped cut out the rockets, but made me do the stars...

He also picked out the usa flag pick, because he learned on his field trip that the astronauts put a flag on the moon.  He has carrots and apple slices as well as cookies.

Caterpiller to Butterfly

We found a hurt butterfly this past weekend and kept a watch on it till today, when it was gone.  So I decided to give G a butterfly lunch (and caterpillar)

Cheese butterfly, bread caterpillar, carrots, apples slices, cookies and pepperoni. He took money for a soft pretzel today too as well as his juice and yogurt.

Field Trip Day

We took a field trip to NASA - Wallops Flight facitlity today.  So of course he had to have a rocket lunch.   Used a disposable container and paper liners, so we could just toss after lunch, but I ended up saving the container afterall :)

Two rockets out of bread with tons of cheese stars.  Pepperoni and a chicken nugget, carrots and 1 huge strawberry. Oreo mini cookies to round it up.

B is for Boat

Just a little sail boat to end out the week

Bread sailboat, with cheese letters.  Turkey with a flag pick (seemed very regalia to have a flag) strawberry and carrots.

B is for Bat

G is still obsessed by Batman, so today I decided to give him a bat lunch. 

BAT is in Bread, with many cheese bats, turkey with a batman ring on it, strawberries and carrots and a cookie in there somewhere.

Bug Boxes

It's our last day to do snack, so I made each kiddo a bug box...

it is an orange with tollhouse pretzel/crackers as wings and chocolate chip as eyes bug, a cheese stick. Some more crackers with a glow in the dark bug...

I continued it to his lunch today.

B is for Bear

Bears, Bears, everywhere...

(sorry that all my pics are crazy this week.. for some reason, I can't get them to flip...)

B is a cookie.. Little cheese and bear sandwich, strawberry with a bear pick, carrots, and turkey in the box.

Nothing cute today, just added a spider and batman ring to make it more exciting....

on the bottom he does have some shell pasta, and then he has some chicken, a cheese stick, cookie and carrots.  He has an applesauce and yogurt too.

Quilt

Two different cheese sticks make up this quilt on bread (G was sad, because it messed up before he got to school, next time I will either have to melt the cheese a bit or spread something down to make it stick),  Q out of turkey with the rest rolled up.  carrots, oranges and cookies in the box..
